    I have installed Bloxpress2 v. 1.5.6b, and am having some trouble. Things like Add Blocks not working, not fluid movement, and some other problems.

    See my blog: http://prattmic.homedns.org/wordpress

    My Server is Windows XP Home SP2 (My Comp)
    Apache 2.2
    PHP 5.1.1

    I found that after the install of 1.5.6b, i had to go into the bloxpress options section and "update settings". then the "add blocks" worked, for me. I also do not see any "add blocks" menu on your site. Make sure your dir's are writeable also:
    * bloxpress2/system/cache
    * bloxpress2/system/workdir
    Let us know if it works after this.

    I don't know where "update settings" is, but I figured out how to get add blocks working, however, it isn't saving the settings.

    In your WP admin section, click on "presentation" then click on bloxpress to make it the active theme (it looks like it already is the active theme). Then click "bloxpress options". Then click "update settings". first make sure your folders are writeable.

    I don't have an update settings button. I only have Check for Update.

    I think alot of the stuff isn't working well with my server. I get tons of Javascript errors, and a bunch of stuff doesn't even work.

    Not on IIS etc...

    I have programmed it on a XAMPP windows enviroment. Its a preconfigured package with apache2 for windows, mysqld-nt and php4/5.

    XAMPP is what I am using. I have Apache 2.2 MySql (Can't remember what version) and PHP 5.1.1

    I would never use the IIS crap

    1.5.7 broke my Add Blocks menu, so I set it back to blockmenu div, and that just broke everything else. :bigsmile:

    And taking off blockmenu don't help

    you have to uninstall before you add the new one. I have just updated the Demo page and all i did was hitting uninstall, uploading the theme, overwriting all files, went to admin menu, clicked through the menus until all fields were populated. Theme works perfect.

    This site and demo is on Linux with PHP4 and it has been tested on linux/PHP5 aswell (and on my local windows/PHP5 of course).

    I have absolutely no idea whats wrong. Maybe you have some plugins enabled that are not compatible?

    I have the same problem, i am running my blog on godaddy's hosting .. I installed the theme, activated it, updated settings , when disabling blocks it said "wrong referrer dood" .. the folders are set on chmod 777. I clicked uninstall.

    I installed again, Set my directories to chmod 777 again, done all the above again .. still it said wrong referrer dood when i tried to activate/deactivate blocks. but the blocksmenu worked just fine on firefox .. so i tried it on internet explorer next, javascript errors, didn't work .. i tried it again on firefox to no avail, it didn't work!

    I need help, i love this theme .. but broken it's useless!

    I am having the same problems on WP 2.1 - Kjell, are you planning to continue support for Bloxpress? I love the theme, but it definitely has some problems right now.
